Celebration at the Station

Amy and I met up with the ‘crew at Celebration at the Station. It’s this annual free outdoor symphony with 35,000 other people from the KC area. It was a good time for sure. And I must give myself a pat on the back for parking where I did because I took some back roads and avoided nearly all the traffic. Huzzah.

As for what I’ve been doing lately. Well, Project X has been occupying a lot of my time. As it should, but still it’s a definite change of pace that takes some getting used to. What is Project X you may ask? Well I’m being pretty discrete about who I’m telling.

We’re both doing really well though. Our small group still continues to amaze me. Numbers are good, but content is better. And we have both! Praise God!

On a nerd note: I recently had a chance to show off my computer to a die-hard Mac fan and he was throughly impressed and is now starting to ask questions about how he can achieve the same thing. Thanks to Beryl and Ubuntu. Oh I almost forgot, huge news for the Linux world. Dell is now shipping computers with the option to have Ubuntu Linux installed instead of Windows. Yes!!

Pictures from Union Station.

sorry

for the lack of updates. I guess I’m boring lately.

Birthday Bash

This is probably old news for most of you. But Amy threw me an awesome surprise birthday party. I completely didn’t see it coming. She did such a great job. I can’t believe how well she kept it a secret. Anyway, here are some pictures. Thank you for all of you who showed up. Amy counted around 32 people there. Great, great, time.
