Dishwashing Holidays

Merry Christmas everyone. For this being Amy and I’s second Christmas with each other you’d think we’d have the Family routines at least a little figured out. NO WAY!! Man this year was tough figuring out where to go for Christmas. We’ve learned it’s impossible to make everyone happy. So sorry family members who won’t be able to see us on Christmas day. Just remember Christmas is a holiday season so it’s more than just one day. It doesn’t mean we can’t meet up the day after or before Christmas.

    Hi Scott,
This is also our second Christmas together, so we understand what you guys are going through. Though we’ve been married a year and a half, I still struggle sometimes when we visit, trying to manage our time in order to spend quality time with both side of the family. It’s really hard for me sometimes, because I feel the need to be perfectly equal and try to make everyone happy. Like you said, that can’t always happen. I guess the conclusion I’ve come to that in reality this is not a horrible problem to have, having so much family that desires to spend time with Ben and me. I should see this as a blessing, instead of an annoyance that I have to deal with on every holiday.
Well, I guess that’s all I have to say about that.
I hope you and Amy have a very merry chistmas and that you can cherish the time spent with each family member.

By the way, the post was from Lori. Though the website says Ben and Lori, this is mainly Ben’s. I decided to jump on the xanga bandwagon, so mine is http://www.xanga.com/lorifel28

    Bye!

Just do what I do: whatever my wife wants. Works out better for me and I’ll always have something to give her a hard time about.

I say stick with what’s the most fun. In our case: Christmas with Rachel’s fam and Thanksgiving and a pre or post Christmas with mine.
